The new year started on August 25. To open the new year, Lars Humrich, principal of the Marienau School, welcomed the entire school community and gave a special warm welcome to our new students.

From the sea baptism to a wide range of extracurricular activities
With the start of the school year, three new teachers and an educational staff member are joining the Marienau community. They will enrich our everyday school life with fresh ideas and a great deal of commitment.We are particularly pleased to welcome two volunteers from Spain and France, who will accompany our school life for a year and make our intercultural coexistence even more diverse. After the official welcome, another highlight awaited all the newcomers: the traditional baptism in the lake, which symbolizes their new membership in the school community.
